Intro

Hi there

I am 5nipe.

I am addicted EVE player and spend lot of time on-line plying this grate game.  When I started playing EVE I quickly picked up exploration as mini-profession and spent a lot of  time in HS (high sec)  hunting DED plexes but shortly afterwards moved to LS, enjoying thrill and opportunities it offers.

At some point I wrote Exploration Almanac to help people who interested in exploration start this interesting and challenging EVE occupation. The blog is a bit outdated and I had dilemma to rewrite it or write new one about low sec, which I have promised and been asked many times when it comes out.

Reading the eve forum I find it very interesting what different people think about low-sec exploration and living in Low Sec (LS) in general. So I want to present my point of view at LS. I expect many things I will present are disputable, but I write my blog from two sides prospective: as an explorer (read carebear) and PvP (read gate camper or LS-pirate) hunting carebears in low sec.

The one thing I want to stress and underline ant the very beginning: this blog is not about how to find and run plexes/radars/magneto in low sec. This blog will be about how to operate in low sec. It will be not about PvP in LS but how to avoid PvP, and this, actually, part of PvP too. It will be how do reduce your risks, operating in LS, and big part of it will be how to travel in LS and keep your lovely ship intact.

I will try post 2-3 post per week, may be more, depending on my mood and time I can allocate to this blog. I am going to keep it a bit as entertaining reading, so you will not get bored quickly. I also beg your pardon in advance for my English that is far from perfect, since it is not my native language. I will appreciate any comments and correction on this matter.

At first place I was advised to call blog LS survival guide, but this term is pretty much common now, so I decided to use something different: LS Rally (Low Security Rally) since most part of it would be "hit warp".
